Its being going for a while now - weeks/months frankly. Its not consistent, it will go days without surfacing. When I enter the valid username and password, it will do one of two things:
1. Throw me into a page that says "you are not authorised to view this page" or 2. Refresh the screen and I am back at login. This will happen in every part of the Site whenever the login box is used. Then ..... When at times it accepts the login, it will put me to a "you are logged in " page with summary details of who I am. At that point if I press "forum", or take a longer route via the home page, I end up in the forum with it claiming I am not logged in. Other days I open up and bang - I am in without logging in at all. Vertually all the time if I accessed my account page, I find I am logged in so I do - whatever - in the account page. Then from that page (where I am logged in) I press form button at the bottom of the page, off we go again - I am not logged in and nothing I do will make me logged in. A day or so later I will arrive at the site - and I am logged in ...... really, really weird. I have ensured all cache files etc have been emptied for all browsers, and all windows temporary files deleted. So there is no chance its picking up cached pages. Regards Zy |

Hello Zydor,
It seems to be a problem with Drupal - which does not mean that I want to pin the blame on Drupal, but that I have to reinstall many things soon. Most times when there have been problems with logging in it helped to clear the server session cache. Yesterday I updated the Drupal core and modules to the newest ones and cleared all caches. If this does not work a longer time, I will try to reinstall it. Tobias |
