Bug #721

difference in adjective, verb and noun

posted in Tagger by Roy Jamison

What should be done in situations where a word can be in several categories, i.e. if a certain word can be a noun or verb depending on the context?
Does FreeHAL take this into consideration? What should we set it as, the most commonly used and "hope for the best" or something else?

First it should jusk ask the user for clarification. If it has more experience it can start to guess.

That"s not a problem. It does ask, but not every instance will be the same, like the word "produce".
It could be a noun or a verb, depending on the context, i.e. as a noun, "I eat fresh produce" (meaning fruit and vegetables),
or as a verb, "These factories produce beer". Produce and "to produce".
